The Focus Group Recruiting Center recruits people living in the greater Charlotte-Rock Hill area to participate in on-site focus groups.
You get paid a minimum of $50 just to
meet with a group of about 10 other local residents and answer questions
from a professional moderator. These questions may focus on new or existing
products or services, pending court cases, ideas which companies want to
test out, and many other interesting subjects.
No expertise or special knowledge is required. We are looking for "average people" of all kinds who enjoy talking about interesting things in group situations — and who would like to make a little money in return.
A focus group is not a "job" and we prefer people who have not participated in other focus groups in the past year. Paying you for your participation is simply a way of rewarding you for your time — the rate is determined by the sponsoring company depending on their priorities and budgets.

Focus groups are typically held at
a local hotel, conference room or other safe and comfortable meeting spot in
the early evenings so people with day jobs can participate as well as those
who do not work outside the home. However some may be held in the daytime depending
on the target audience.
Selections are based primarily on demographic
information such as age range, gender and place of residence. We cannot
guarantee just by signing up that you will be selected. Each sponsor (company)
using the Focus Group Recruiting Center has different needs for different type
of people depending on their plans and purposes.
Registration is free of
course. Your information will be kept confidential and will never be sold
or used for any other purpose other than focus group recruiting. In some cases
we may email you about a special project to see if you are interested and available,
and we may need to ask you more questions related to the sponsor’s products
